Construction Training & Apprenticeship Ontario
Construction Training and Apprenticeship Ontario (CTAO) is an online resource for those interested in exploring and pursuing careers in the construction trades. This platform connects individuals with apprenticeship opportunities available through CTAO's extensive network of construction trade union partners across the province.
What is an apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a form of education and training that combines paid on-the-job learning with classroom instruction. It allows individuals to learn a skilled trade while getting paid for their work. Apprenticeship opportunities are open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents and those holding valid work permits.
Can CTAO get me an apprenticeship?
CTAO is not a direct provider of apprenticeships, job placements, or work opportunities. It serves as an information hub, guiding individuals to connect with union-based apprenticeship programs aligned with their career aspirations.
