Responsibilities
Read and interpret specifications to select insulation type
Apply insulation materials to plumbing, air-handling, heating, cooling and refrigeration systems, piping equipment, pressure vessels, walls, floors & ceilings
Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, taping & other methods
Measure and cut insulating materials using hand & power tools
Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials

Local 95 delivers 3 levels of in-school technical training at their facility in Richmond Hill (north of Toronto). 6400 hours of on-the-job training, supplemented by three 6-week sessions of in-class technical training.
Entrance Requirements
Grade 12 Diploma preferred (Grade 10 minimum)
Journeyperson Wage Rate
$49.92/Hr (2024 Provincial Average)
