Mobile Crane Operators maintain and operate conventional lattice & telescopic boom mobile cranes that can lift, move, position & place materials and equipment weighing more than 16,000 pounds, such as concrete, steel, gravel and other construction supplies and machinery at construction and industrial sites, ports, factories, warehouses, dockyards or rail yards.
Responsibilities
Perform pre- and post-operational inspections
Prepare, transport, assemble and dismantle mobile cranes
Plan crane ‘lifts’ including calculating crane capacity and determining load weight
Perform rigging
Key Skills & Attributes
Excellent communication skills, often with hand signals
Strong depth perception and hand-eye coordination
Ability to estimate distances and load weights

$54.96/Hr (Based on the Greater Toronto-Hamilton Area wages, 2024)
